Family sessions are a great way to capture the love you all share, particularly your goofy inside jokes, that certain look you give each other, and precious toddler smiles! I offer a variety of session types and durations to accommodate your family’s needs, but one thing’s for certain: these sessions are fun, low-stress times to make memories with your loved ones—no need to ‘smile perfectly’ or pose a certain way! The result? A gallery of candid and traditional photos you can use for holiday cards, graduation announcements, or proudly display on your mantel. 

I lean to capture not only the traditional posed family photos but the fun candid moments during family photos. You can expect to have beautiful posed formal family photos as well as candid photos that allow laughs and silliness. I am talking about where brother jumps up and sister's back or dad throws his son up in the air or all the kids run to mom to tackle her with a hug or grandpa gives a wink to grandma while looking at each other causing lots of laughter. Those are the moments I seek out while taking family portraits. 

I am also always keeping an eye out for small details such as no buttons undone, no phone/wallets in front pocks and always making sure all the girl's hair looks nice in every photo. You can count on me to help with all of the small details! I'll make sure you come prepared for our family session, including an email that has you write down a list of all the certain photos you want to be taken of the family together. My family sessions always include photos of individuals and all the classic combination photos. P.S. I always make mom and dad get a photo with one another. My family sessions are fun and relaxed, I will pose and direct everyone the entire time. You can expect to leave surprised at how much fun you actually had during your family session.
